Part-Time UX Designer

The Interaction Designer will design, prototype and develop interactions for our ad agency client. The candidate should have professional UX/UI design experience participating in the complete lifecycle of several successfully delivered web and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high quality, responsive, user interaction designs from concept through to launch that perform flawlessly on Windows, Mobile, Web and Mac technologies.
- Leveraging storyboards, flows, wireframes and prototypes. This position will manage a basic level of usability testing for prototypes and work in partnership with digital marketing, and allied engineers in IT to deliver the desired experience on time and within budget.

Job Qualifications

- Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university
- Experience: Four (4) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
- A strong problem solver, self-starter and excellent communicator who possesses a passion for great user experience and the ability to achieve it.
- Strong design portfolio with examples of touch friendly user interaction designs available for review.
- Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop or Fireworks, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
- Experience designing rapid prototypes with tools like Bootstrap, Balsamiq, SketchFlow to help clarify the requirements with end-users and other stakeholders.
- Able to define standards for UX style guide, pattern library, vector icons gallery and visual design guidelines.
- Must be detail-oriented, ability to think creatively and justify concepts to customers and team members. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
