Responsible for social content and community management, including writing, positioning content and posting content, maximizing across channels and creating KPIs and ongoing measurement of effectiveness of social channels and content. To start 20-25 hours a week with possibility of increasing over time.
Bachelors degree or equivalent education/experience. 1-4 years of online writing experience - concentration in brand and marketing preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
Understands social channels and maximizes content flow throughout channels. Adept at creating concepts and messages that support client brands. Expert knowledge in developing concepts and content that is relevant to, and that resonate with client target audiences. Ability to write according to the clients' brand and voice. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Understands the components of relevance - right message, right place, right time. Ability to identify the single most important audience and tailor their messages accordingly. Creative-thinker and has strong command of language.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Write for prospects and customers in their terms and on their level so that messages are more readily received through social channels. Create valued content that can be maximized and shared across channels. Implement key performance indicators and metrics to measure effectiveness and engagement through social channels. Identify opportunities for improvement based upon performance results and insights. Vary language and tone of messages based on social channel. Consult with key stakeholders and internal staff to obtain information, materials and collateral that can be shared through social channels with customers, prospects, media as well as auditing and researching outside sources of content.
