Part-Time Marketing Project Coordinator

Our education client is looking for a part time Project Coordinator to work 3 days per week in their office planning a large-scale fundraising initiative through the end of September 2014. This will be a contract position offering a full benefits package.

The Communications Project Coordinator reports to the Assistant Vice President for Alumni Engagement and serves as a member of the Alumni Engagement team. They serve as a coordinator and project manager for communications serving multiple offices. This role maintains relationship with internal departments as well as outside communications contractors. They will coordinate, edit, author, and develop materials for fundraising and engagement purposes. They will serve as editor of a monthly newsletter.


-Serve as project manager (traffic control) responsible for coordinating and managing development and production of communications materials related to the campaign and its launch.

-Maintain close effective working relationships with leadership, the greater office and outside contractors.

-In cooperation with program managers will help to monitor, evaluate and maintain the appropriate messaging and branding for various populations. Track and ensure work aligns with budgets, policies and procedures.

-Serves as editor and content coordinator for newsletters


-Bachelor’s Degree required.

-Excellent oral and written communications tools

-Outstanding work organization and time management skills

-Personal initiative and an ability to manage projects simultaneously, to set priorities and follow-through on projects.

-Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on a team, strong writing, revising, editing and proofreading skills, and the ability to maintain a high standard of accuracy and quality under pressure of deadline and with a high level of professionalism.
