Part Time Marketing Program Coordinator

1. This position is part time at 10 hours a week to start but the manager is willing to be flexible within reason or 5 hours 2 days a week 
2.  This is supporting an internal corporate University - a learning and development team The Marketing Program Coordinator will organize and manage educational courses, meetings, and workshops. 
- The successful incumbent will be responsible for food and beverage planning, room setup, audio visual support, and will manage all course rosters for registration attendees. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 
* Schedule and manage a high volume of course registrations, low to high profile events, room selection, room layout changes and catering needs while staying on budget 
* Create and monitor event orders and attend events as necessary 
* Provide exceptional customer service and perform all other job related duties as assigned 
* Additional duties as assigned by supervisor Office Responsibilities 
* Answer telephone calls and responds to caller inquiries: transfer calls, take messages to relay to appropriate staff members 
* Communicate information accurately to manage and disseminate information and facts to relevant accounts and concerned departments 
* Type, process letters, proposals and contracts accurately and in a timely manner 
* Enter and maintain data entry for training record(s) in Learning Management system, as well as contracts, correspondence, forms, memos, and other documents Minimum Qualifications 
* Strong computer knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications and experience with Learning Management Systems 
* Excellent communications, customer service and sales skills, verbal and written 
* Highly organized, detail oriented and excellent problem solving skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and under deadline 
* Effective interpersonal, influencing, coaching, and conflict resolution skills 
* Ability to write, read and understand English
