Part Time Marketing Copywriter

The Copywriter will work as part of house creative team to produce center marketing materials with a focus on fashion, family and food communications. Projects will include, but are not limited to, print advertising, promotional pieces, direct mail, signage, posters, barricades, sales materials and presentations. The Copywriter will ensure materials are clear and effective, maintain a consistent brand voice and meet the brand guidelines. This will begin as a part time position at 20 hours per week with the potential of increasing up to 40 hours per week.


• Partner and concept with the creative team to write for a wide variety of collateral material targeted for specific customer segments (both B2B and B2C) and helps to drive traffic and sales for the brand's vendors
• With the creative team, interpret design briefs and produce compelling copy with the objectives of capturing the target audience's attention and inspiring action
• Maintain brand consistency in brand voice as it applies to all printed material
• Support the Right Message, Right Location strategy by crafting strategic copy that takes message placement and context into consideration


• Strong proficiency in English grammar and syntax
• Experience in retail promotions, B2C, B2B communications
• 2-5 years of experience writing creative content
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Technical Writing, Marketing or a related field
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to learn and take direction
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Self motivated and works well independently or in a team environment
• Experience as a professional proofreader desired
• Portfolio with writing samples required
• Must be able to work from a remote location
