Our large retail Fortune 500 client is seeking a Paid Social Media - Channel Support person! This is a solid year-long contract.

Assignment Description: Paid Social Media - Channel Support
• Assist with day-to-day planning & paid social advertising activation across social platforms (such as Facebook and Twitter)
o Develop and maintain comprehensive testing calendar
o Manage daily activation and execution of media tactics, including placements, ad types, bid optimization, etc
o Report results to key stakeholders, including media and creative partners
• Manage media buys, campaign analyses, and optimization processes in order to deliver on quantitative business objectives
• Oversee, author and/or constructively edit and review media documents (i.e. plans, POVs, RFIs, RFPs, plans, agreement, memos, and partner communication
• Drive innovation in the channel by working with partners to develop new ad products and tactics

• Drive relationships with key partners:
o External media partners
o Target business, platform and channel owners
o Campaign managers and leads

• Establish social direct response best practices:
o Testing to advance channel effectiveness and drive insights; includes planning, prioritization, measurement, structure and analysis
o Monitor industry to apply relevant channel and business insights

• Communicate, educate, and evangelize channel

Requirements:
• 4-year college degree and/or equivalent experience
• Strong background in math, statistics or economics
• Strong understanding and experience in data management, modeling and analytics
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Strong knowledge of MS Access
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook
• Knowledge of site analytics tools such as Omniture and Google Analytics preferred
• Understanding of data warehouse a plus
• SQL experience in multiple flavors (e.g. DB2, Oracle, MS Access) a plus
• Experience analyzing complex data and market research to develop actionable plans and insights
• Previous experience with:
o Media analytics and insights
o Digital media planning; emphasis in social media
o Trend/technology identification; comfort and ability to implement technology
o Capturing, communicating and implementing best practices
o Marketing and/or media campaign planning
o Data visualization and articulation
o Troubleshooting and solution recommendation
• Strong collaboration skills with both internal and external partners
• Exceptional communication
