Paid Search Specialist

The Paid Search Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the travel clients multi-million dollar paid search advertising program; a critical component of client's e-commerce strategy. This individual will assist in all aspects of the company’s search campaigns including: setting up new campaigns, bid optimizations, ad copy writing & testing, A/B testing, analyzing, tracking, and optimizing cross-engine/cross-product performance. We are looking for a team player who enjoys working in close coordination with her/his counterparts. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker, obsessed with continuous improvement and extremely detailed oriented.

Key Responsibilities:
• Become expert in achieving the Team's objectives via paid search strategy
• Co-manage the day-to-day activities related to PPC advertising, including: set-up, implementation, execution and analysis of pay-per-click campaigns with multiple objectives
• Write, test, and optimization ad copy
• Conduct keyword discovery, testing, and optimization
• Develop and implement tactics to improve quality score for keywords
• Reporting and analysis of campaign and keyword performance, on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Drive continuous improvement through implementation of new and creative ideas
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices, focusing on how changes can improve the client's program

Qualifications
• Minimum of 1.5 years recent PPC campaign management experience on account larger than $50,000 a month
• Skilled at PPC optimization techniques (ROI, CPA, CPC, CPM, Impression Share)
• Extensive knowledge of Google AdWords & Bing Ads
• Proficiency with bid management platforms (prefer Kenshoo Local)
• Experience with web analytics and reporting platforms (prefer Omniture SiteCatlyst experience)
• Results oriented
• Problem Solving – ability to understand issues and solve in thorough and appropriate manner
• Must be detailed oriented, highly organized and have ability to multi-task
• Experience analyzing and drawing conclusions from large datasets
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Travel category experience preferred
• Must be team player who enjoys working together with others and sharing tasks
