Paid Search Analyst

We are currently looking for a Paid Search Analyst for a long term w2 contract position.

As a Search & Auction Media Analyst, you will be responsible for the tactical campaign execution, analysis and reporting of the paid
search and auction media marketing strategy for some of the most recognizable brands in the world.

The objective of this position is to develop, implement, optimize and report on search marketing and auction media initiatives for assigned Company accounts in order to meet the goals of marketing and technology stakeholders.

This role is very knowledgeable in Google Adwords and Bing Ads while also having a working knowledge of Facebook and Twitter advertising. This role reports to the Manager, Search & Auction Media Activation.

Job Responsibilities
Participate and lead in the implementation and management of Paid Search and Auction Media campaigns and ensure they are setup to track properly in Adobe SiteCatalyst and Marin

Manage the daily campaign optimization efforts of assigned accounts to ensure they are achieving the traffic and conversion goals set for each campaign

Manage daily budget tracking process to make sure monthly spending levels are on pace

Utilize team task management system to manage and execute assignments as well as possess the ability to prioritize assignments based on urgency and importance

Create keyword and ad copy proposals for new campaigns or accounts based on objectives provided by Search & Auction Media Manager and key marketing partners

Manage bid rules and optimization efforts at the campaign, ad group and keyword levels to drive account performance

Utilize Adobe SiteCatalyst and Marin to create Search & Auction Media reports that summarize the overall and individual campaign performance of accounts.

Manage the execution and reporting of ad copy, landing page, engine beta testing initiatives

Collaborate with management and team members to define policies,processes and procedures to further drive efficiencies and performance for key stakeholders

Keep current on Search & Auction Media industry and propose new ideas to further enhance campaign tactics

Required Skills & Education

2-3 years executing search marketing for a high volume consumer website

Must have a thorough working knowledge of paid search marketing and possess a solid understanding of social media advertising tactics in Facebook and Twitter

Must be well versed in the following search engine interfaces and tools:

Google Adwords, Google Adwords Editor, Bing Ads, Bing Ads Editor

Familiar with a major web analytics vendor such as Adobe (Omniture) SiteCatalyst, Hitbox, Coremetrics or Webtrends to drive tactical decisions

Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and prioritize time

Comfortable working with team members at all levels, including senior management

High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to quickly learn new software packages

Preferred Skills & Education

Experience using third party bid management applications

Experience working on e-commerce and/or lead generation campaigns

Four year degree in Management, Marketing, Media or Finance
