Paid Media Specialist

Aquent is seeking Paid Media Specialists for long-term temporary positions with our clients. Ideal candidates will drive marketing success by planning, trafficking, optimizing, and analyzing digital media campaigns while making data-driven decisions and using an iterative test and learn approach.  If you are a strategic, analytical thinker who can manage, optimize, and scale impactful digital advertising campaigns, we want to hear from you.


  • Partner with digital marketing and cross-functional teams to develop and execute digital media campaigns that reach marketing goals while maximizing ROI

  • Own and execute the day-to-day planning, implementation, testing and optimization of all paid media campaigns

  • Provide in-depth reporting and insightful analysis of campaign performance

  • Conceptualize new creative concepts and testing plans, and work closely with design and copywriting to ensure that ads are continuously refreshed and optimized

  • Work with design and web teams to create and execute landing page tests and optimizations

  • Oversee tracking and reporting of campaign results and perform ad hoc data analysis

  • Manage media buys and budgets


Skills & Experience

  • BA/BS degree

  • 2+ years experience in an agency or corporate marketing department managing and optimizing paid media campaigns

  • Strong knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: SEM/PPC, paid social, display, re-targeting, native advertising, ad operations, programmatic, etc

  • Strong proficiency with the following types of tools:

    • Search - Google AdWords (must have), Bing, Yahoo

    • Paid Social - Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc...

    • Display - Google Display Network, etc...

    • Native - Taboola, Outbrain, etc...

    • Other Advertising Platforms - AdRoll, DoubleClick, Kenshoo, Marin, etc…

    • Analytics - Google Analytics (or equivalent), Excel, Tableau (a plus)

  • Comprehensive digital advertising campaign management experience and deep understanding of budget pacing, budget allocation, and fluid optimization for best possible performance/ROI

  • An analytical mind and a passion for organizing, testing, learning, and repeating

  • Ongoing motivation to learn and stay at the forefront of a field that is always changing
