Vitamin T's Norwalk, CT-based client is seeking an onsite temp-to-perm Packaging Project Manager.

As the PPM, you will use your leadership skills to influence and manage outcomes exceeding our client’s expectations. Working in a project environment, you will need to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines. To be successful you must demonstrate the ability to manage and influence in a collaborative solutions providing team. Your success will reside in your ability to effectively communicate to the Matthews team as well as the customer. This is not the role for an individual contributor but for a visionary who enjoys a solution based team approach.

You will be the central point of communication on multiple projects within your assigned Brand. The PPM will adhere to project timelines, maintain regular status reports and coordinate project kick-off and team planning meetings. The PPM will work with the production team to schedule and facilitate the flow of information in all project phases. The PPM will work with the On-site Graphics Coordinator at the client site to ensure all project requirements are met. To achieve the above you must be a strong and effective communicator; who believes there is no such thing as too much communication. In collaboration with the On-Site Coordinators you will create a project plan and timeline that will assure successful completion of the project. You will need to document, communicate, and maintain the project timeline and target dates. Additionally you will have to monitor job changes and document all changes.

You will also be responsible for developing project quotes and conducting conversations with clients regarding price changes and assisting with obtainment of purchase orders.

Requirements

• BS in Communication or related field preferred
• 3-5 Years of Packaging or Print industry experience required
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail is a must for success
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Strategic outcome based problem solving skills
• Solid planning skills and well developed sense of business integrity required
• Strong customer service orientation
• Familiarity with gravure, offset and flexo packaging print disciplines

Beverage packaging PM experience a plus.
