We are looking for a Packaging Project Manager for a Retail E-commerce client in San Diego. This role is responsible for developing and managing timelines, trafficking information from cross-functional partners to the Packaging team, and overseeing the workload and workflow of all Private Brand packaging projects from inception to completion.
Job Duties Include: 1.) Develops master production schedule 2. Ensures all briefs and sku details are complete 3. Initiates and manages online packaging proofing with cross-functional partners and consolidates feedback prior to sharing with production team 4. Facilitates weekly production status meetings and reports out to key stakeholders on project status. 5. Routes, monitors and ensures all jobs are reviewed and approved by the appropriate stakeholders. 6. Manages and produces weekly status reports that provides accurate information about the creative status of Private Brand copy and packaging projects. 8. Communicates to the Private Brand Director on all projects not on schedule and the solution to resolve timing challenges. 9. Performs other duties and takes on special projects as required.

Fosters open, positive, and collaborative dialogue with cross-functional partners 5.Assists in collecting inputs to inform creative strategy briefs, including information from Sourcing, QA, Merchandising partners, Product Design, and others. 6. Interacts professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication 7.Independently prioritizes multiple tasks within established guidelines. 8.Partners with Copywriters, Graphic Designers, Packaging Production Artists, and Packaging Engineer to ensure supportive and open communication of project status to cross-functional 9.Actively leads in systems and process improvement to maximize efficiencies and streamline overall packaging process.

1. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with competing timelines. 2. Ability to understand cause and effect of scheduling challenges for dated materials. 3. Requires good grasp on the length of time required to complete projects. 4. Requires knowledge of workload balance within teams, production schedule planning and follow up as well as recalibration of plans when adjustments need to be made. 5. Maintains a positive attitude 6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, large corporate environment 7. Experience in print production preferred. Experience with packaging production for consumer goods is highly desired. 8.
