LOCATION: Oakland, CA
START DATE: ASAP
CONTRACT: Full Time || Mon-Fri || 40 hrs/week || 6+ Months (with potential to extend)
PAY: $20-$25/hr (based on experience)

OUR FORTUNE 500 LIFESTYLE CLIENT IS IN NEED OF AN PROJECT COORDINATOR TO WORK WITHIN THE VISUAL MERCHANDISING TEAM!

Our client’s Visual Merchandising team needs a Project Coordinator to act as the key liaison and communicator between internal teams and external vendors and partners. This task is crucial to ensure a steady flow of communication, and general success for the company!

DAY-TO-DAY BASIC FUNCTIONS:
• Will be communicating daily via email and phone with external vendor and internal team to ensure merchandise is dispersed to the correct teams successfully. This Project Coordinator will also project manage, coordinate, organize the flow of information between business partners working on the projects. Projects will include: in-store visual merchandising, featuring, graphics, and in-store construction/architecture
• Responsible for addressing any problems that arise with vendors and tracking of shipped merchandise. Must be able to take initiative to fix similar problems
• Follow up on necessary project details will be included. This follow up is important and imperative to projects turning out successful

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2-5 years of experience with Project Coordinating, Operations, Visual Merchandise or in an equivalent field
• Must be multi-task oriented and be able to act as a key communicator with multiple teams. This includes taking initiative when needed, knowing when “follow-up” is necessary, and understanding the importance of verbal confirmation and coordination
• Very strong organization and administrative skills
• Must demonstrate a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines, as well has have the ability to compile information gathered in an organized fashion
• Great at following up with business partners to obtain information
• Demonstrates business analytical thinking and problem solving
• Must have PC knowledge including, Excel, Word, and CAD is a HUGE PLUS
