***Our fortune 500 fashion client is looking for a Director of Marketing & Commercial Planning to join their team!***

OVERVIEW:
Lead development of integrated and brand-right promotional projects for North America stores that drive business and engage customers. Responsible for incorporating consumer insights, brand positioning, marketing, design and product strategies, as well as intuitive creative judgment in everything they do.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage a team of 2 that are responsible for all creative briefing associated with promotional projects that deliver on business objectives and competitive analysis
• Responsible for the development of the monthly cross functional commercial plan development, including review with Senior leadership for approval
• Partner closely with Online Marketing team to ensure a cohesive approach where possible to promotions on a brand level
• Partner closely Inventory management, Finance, Store operations and Field visual to develop monthly plans
• Partner closely with Promotion Project management team to understand timeline for all upcoming promotions
• Lead the cross functional team on strategy for Promotional programs, including overseeing any print collateral needs associated with each
• Responsible for seasonal commercial plan development with support from cross functional partners, includes outlining top volume days and developing brand strategies to drive the business during these timeframes
• Responsible for sharing finalized creative around promotional activity for all in-store activity with the cross functional team
• Oversee the brand calendar and commercial plan promotional updates regularly for marketing content and accuracy via team maintenance
• Provide promotional strategy for Test & Respond marketing
• Partner with Media team on planned media content messaging on a seasonal basis
• Oversee all aspects of budget associated with promotional activity

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Marketing and business background required
• Minimum 10 years of marketing/business experience, preferably in retail, apparel, luxury, real estate or entertainment brands
• Ability to think strategically and apply strategic thinking to creative programs

• Ability to understand/analyze business results
• Ability to persuade/influence cross functional teams
 with members on all levels of the organization
• Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization
• Strong written and communication skills with ability to provide clear, articulate feedback
 both to direct reports and cross functional partners
• Detail oriented with a strong sense of accountability
• Experience communicating with or presenting to senior leadership on commercial plans
• Project Management experience a plus
• Ability to manage budgets
• Apparel/retail store experience a plus
