***Our fortune 500 fashion client is looking for a Production Assistant to join their team!***

The Production Assistant actively supports a Global Production team that is responsible for communicating and executing Brand product strategies in partnership with the fabric strategy team. They coordinate the activities of the development, sampling, and bulk execution, which supports Design’s vision while meeting or exceeding financial goals.


Financial Management
• Support divisional goals and work with team on execution of strategies
• Partner with supervisor to communicate and manage financial liabilities to cross functional partners
• Understand and support execution of all brand filters, design aesthetic, quality and financial goals
• Support execution of GIS Category Sourcing Strategies
• Maintain and ensure costing accuracy in ACT

Pre-Production Management
• Monitor, adhere to, and execute Brand pipeline calendars and checklists
• Order all sample fabric, trims, and styles for key milestone meetings by calendar deadlines
• Track on-time delivery of samples for milestone meetings and report style level status and specifics to supervisor/cross functional teams
• Understand design’s aesthetic requirements and partner with supervisor to ensure brand quality filters are met
• Assist supervisor in monitoring of seasonal development meeting Line Plan needs and Development metrics
• Support fabric\product strategies that leverage the category across the brand and company

Production Execution
• Participate in pre class process
• Pull reporting of style tracker requests and monitor adherence of cross functional teams to style tracker process
• Communicate with GIS to understand production execution issues and partner with supervisor in resolving them in a timely manner
• Partner with supervisor on communication of with production execution issues including late or short shipments to cross functional partners

• 1-2 Years Production/Manufacturing experience
• 4 Year Bachelors Degree preferred
• Knowledge of production Manufacturing and product engineering, global trade regulations, global testing protocol, global product integrity, production cycle timeline, calendar management, fabric performance and garment/product construction
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Web-based applications.
• Effectively communicate in written and verbal form
• Detail oriented with strong follow through, organize and prioritize multiple projects
• Use basic retail math needed to determine costs, margins and turn
