CONTRACT: Full Time || Mon-Fri || 40 hrs/week || 7+ Months
PAY: $26-$32/hr (based on experience)

OUR FORTUNE 500 RETAIL COMPANY IS IN NEED OF A PRINT PRODUCTION MANAGER TO JOIN THE TEAM ASAP!

RESPONSIBILITIES + TASKS:
• This Print Production manager will be managing all print jobs for North America Stores. Projects will include: window posters, in-store signage, coupons, direct mail, special projects, etc.)
• Develop and manage print production projects, inclusive of managing budgets, scheduling, releasing artwork and proofing pint production jobs for North America and EU (UK, Ireland, Italy and France)
• Partner with Creative, Marketing and Visual teams to research and develop marketing materials to execute creative vision across all store types and print mediums
• Build specification sheets and distribution lists and partner with Sourcing to achieve most competitive cost
• Troubleshoot artwork files prior to vendor submission.
• Ensure proper and timely delivery of programs including multiple components, versions and shipping destinations. Sole point of contact and support for field for missing or damaged marketing pieces
• Manage budgets from the estimating process through completion and ensure actuals come in as planned.
• Communicate changes in costs and provide cost efficiency recommendations to key stakeholders
• Collaborate with others in production to ensure consistent quality and color across all areas of production, starting with retouching all the way through final execution. Approve color proofs
• Attend weekly status/kickoff meetings and creative reviews, as well as have weekly


SKILLS + REQUIREMENTS:
• 6+ years pre-press and print production management experience in 4-color process work including sheet fed printing, digital print production, approving color proofs and attending press checks
• Software skills: Mac, Outlook, FileMaker, Box, Excel, Word, Adobe CS5
• Experience in large format, packaging and POP/fixture development a plus
• Excellent people and vendor management skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Must anticipate issues, be solution oriented, provide options and creatively approach resolving issues and meeting schedules
• Must maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
