Immediate Need! PR/Communications Manager/Assistant Director to help support a fast-paced PR team.

Must be a PR Pro with at least 8-10 years of experience. Ideally has experience working with a Professional Services Consulting firm.

This PR role supports assurance, audit, M&A, financial services, issues and regulation. Really needs someone who can jump in and work with existing PR firm, implement current plans and bring in new ideas. Needs to have real solid communication skills. Will be working with senior executives at a very quick pace. Be onsite in NY city location.

Definitely needs someone who can jump in quickly. Types of projects: mix of true media relations, reports – what is the outlook for coming quarter, and IPOs. You really have to understand media relations, be comfortable managing PR agency ensuring they are tracking a certain direction, develop talking points and basically draw water out of stones even though you are talking about M&A, IPOs and other activities. Be comfortable speaking the language and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You should be a quick learner with some financial services background and understand the industry.

Duration of job: February 24th through July 6th potentially extending out longer

Location: New York, NY working onsite

Hours: 9-5 or 8:30-6, maybe longer hours. There will be periods of time when you will be doing overtime.
