Our PR client is seeking a skilled Account Manager to manage their growing blue chip client roster, mentor staff and pursue and attract new business development opportunities. The ideal Account Manager has significant PR agency and/or client side experience executing successful PR and marketing campaigns and has the accolades and track record to support.

This newly created senior role will be a very collaborative, hands-on position with significant growth opportunity, as you will work closely with leadership to build and execute the brand vision. You might be a good fit if:

You are now or recently have been in a senior role at a marketing/PR agency or corporate PR environment with agency management background, preferably with over 7 years of experience, proven skills of integrating and leveraging social media programs, print and broadcast media to heighten client exposure and visibility.

You have a strong knowledge of the financial services and B2B markets and know the trends, opportunities and challenges that face many of the agency’s clients.

You possess an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy seeking and attracting new business to the agency, have developed new business in your career and maintain an extensive network of business relationships.

You have demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic PR and marketing plans for large organizations and have an eye for detail and results.

You understand the dynamics of agency financial management and know how to service and run a profitable client service team while managing client expectations.

You’re a communication guru and have a strong portfolio of writing (creative and strategic) and possess a healthy network of top-tier media contacts that have helped garner impressive results.

You love the agency business, internal and client deadlines and overall fast pace that comes with a senior agency position and you live for that thrill!

You have a Bachelors’ degree in a related field (Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, Broadcast Journalism, or related) and can share the appropriate client and work references upon request.
