PR Specialist Researcher - In House!!!

My client is a leading research specialist in Sydney, they work across a wide range of clients, across every conceivable market sector.

Do you want to work in a fantastic in-house role, in a great location in the heart of the City? If so this is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious and experienced PR or Journalist professional and for someone with a genuine flair for understanding and writing a winning news story or media release. You will be looking for a varied role and you must be willing to work with data. This is a PR role with a TWIST! This is a great opportunity for an analytical person with great business development and PR skills!
They are looking for a smart and creative individual looking for a change in career. This role will suit an intermediate (4+ years) or experienced (8+ years) PR, Journalist or copy writing professional.

The role involves:

• Working with PR agencies and digital marketing agencies to brainstorm ideas which will be of interest to the media
• Working with market researchers to design methodologies and write questionnaires which explore these ideas, you will be required to do some project management
• Helping clients to write winning content which gets published

The ideal candidate will:

• Be creative. Have experience writing articles or media releases
• Be comfortable working with clients and leading brainstorming sessions.
• Have a genuine interest in market research
• Hold tertiary qualifications, or some formal journalism, PR or market research training
• They don't expect you to be a statistician, but we do need someone who is numerate, and comfortable working with data
• Have an excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)

The role doesn’t expect you to be a research expert, although some understanding or exposure to market research would be beneficial. They do expect you to have a genuine desire to learn.

Contacts and the ability to network within the PR industry are highly regarded. The role will suit someone creative with an astute understanding of the media (those with PR or Journalism backgrounds will be highly regarded).
