PR Senior Account Executive - Consumer Finance & Lifestyle

This role gives you an amazing opportunity to work on high profile and stimulating campaigns, representing a range of extremely well known clients in the consumer and corporate space.

As a Senior Account Executive you will work as part of a team to implement client campaigns, set up and maintain systems and really ‘make things happen’. You are required to undertake all your specific tasks on time and take an active role in improving your skills to grow into an Account Manager role with the support of more senior members of the team.

While providing essential support for your team, a Senior Account Executive is also a learning role. You need to be a strong and co-operative team player. You are expected to use initiative and look for solutions. Communicate with your team and look for opportunities to add value, increase your learning and practice your PR skills.

You will have:

• 2-3 years post graduate experience
• Strong media relations skills
• Knowledge of PR and communication principles and techniques
• Creative thinking ability
• Developing problem solving skills and strategic thinking/analysis skills
• Good knowledge of local media
• Appreciation of trends and news that may affect the PR industry and clients
• Learning budgeting techniques
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Expanding network of other contacts eg. caterers, venues, photographers, videographers
• Good written and excellent oral communication skills
• Working knowledge of Word, Powerpoint and Excel programs
• Developing good time management skills
• Proactive client and team engagement
