My client is a well-established, highly regarded and results-driven integrated PR agency. They have worked hard to build a strong media network, a unique team-focused culture and a long term, partnership-focused client base.
This role is for an experienced communicator, with eight to 12+ years’ experience in state and/or federal government (in agency or in house roles). The ability to lead large scale integrated campaigns will be critical, as will the ability to inspire and lead the team to deliver quality work. This person will work closely with the agency’s GM to strategise, project manage and deliver significant government communications work.
Senior strategic counsel, form senior relationships and influence.
Project management and complex budget management.
Integrated communications strategy and delivery.
Team management and accountability.
Build capacity in the team to develop content that will resonate with audiences across owned, earned and paid channels.
In-house government experience or agency experience working on government.
Needs to be able to run government projects/accounts independently and with full accountability.
Needs to be interested in business development and contribute to growing agency’s government centre of excellence.
