PR Managing Director – Global PR Agency – Mat Leave Role

My client is an outstanding integrated PR agency, with a superb offering, working across an impressive list of clients in the consumer and corporate space. This agency has a Global presence, with a fantastic team, location and culture, they are looking for a strategic and experienced Managing Director to come in and lead the business for a minimum 6-month maternity leave contract.

ROLE:

The Managing Director is the leader of the Company, recognised for their industry expertise and ability to successfully manage people and business to build a growing, reputable and profitable consultancy.

The Managing Director provides exceptional leadership, counsel and support to the entire consultancy, developing resources to be used Company-wide. She/he exemplifies and manages achievement of the Group’s vision, values and management philosophies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieve and increase revenue and profit for the business.
• Leadership and management of the business on a day-to-day basis, including the company’s budget and responsibility for all P&L matters.
• Develop and deliver business planning.
• Develop new market segments, products and services and growing the existing business.
• Develop a company footprint within Australia through strategic relationships and/or acquisitions.
• Lead and develop the company as it changes and grows.
• Manage and develop talent.
• Oversee key client relationships.
• Lead and/or assist in business development pitches.
• Actively encourages a creative culture
• High-level commercial acumen
