Our client, an innovative and fast-growing PR agency, is looking for a commercially aware and strategic Account Director to join their London office on a permanent basis. This is an important role that will play a key piece is shaping the strategy for content and growing the business.
We’re looking for an ambitious and driven professional who can think creatively and strategically. You’ll have the ability to manage and maximise existing client relationships as well as seeking opportunities to open up new channels of business. We need someone who has deep industry knowledge, who can take a client brief and transform it into an engaging and compelling campaign.
The successful applicant will be able to deliver in a fast-paced agency environment and juggle several priorities at once. You’ll have an outgoing personality with excellent business development and relationship building skills.
- Take a consultative approach with clients, and advise hem on best practise
- Strategic planning of campaigns
- Management of key accounts
- Upselling of services to existing clients
- New business development
- Maximising opportunities for business growth and identifying new leads
- Developing and leading pitches
- Support and guide the junior team, acting as a mentor and showing best practice
- Experience in delivering in a fast-paced agency environment
- Able to successfully win new business
- The ability to confidently present to prospective new clients
- Developing, running and analysing PR campaigns
- A good commercial awareness, and understanding of the industry (PR, digital, production and creative services)
- A good understanding of the content production process
- Excellent communications skills
