PR Account Director – Music, Entertainment, Consumer Tech, Lifestyle

My client is a multi-award winning PR, Social Media and Influencer agency, they have continued to go from strength to strength, growing in size and working with some of the world’s biggest and best brands across Entertainment, FMCG, Tourism, Alcohol and Telco, to the extent that now they operate on an International level.

About the Role:

I am looking for an ambitious go-getter to join my clients growing team. The role will sit within PR team and you will work on several clients across different consumer industries, including music, insurance and telecommunications

You should have proven experience in big brand management, confident in leading meetings in an Integrated Marketing Campaign format and running your own team successfully.

You will be confident to act as the day to day point person across your range of dedicated clients, including – new business (plan writing through to pitching), team management, campaign implementation and staff development. 
You will report directly into the Managing Director and have a team below them consisting of; Account Manager, Account Executive (and where appropriate an Account Coordinator).

You will have proven success on multi-national clients (ideally across ANZ but not a necessity) and will have a results-driven state of mind.

Your experience will ideally span a range of consumer-based industries and campaign experience will span both traditional and social media. 


Attention to detail, a strong leader and an amazing ability to present and sell back results are a must. You’ll be passionate about consumer and social PR and willing to push your clients to try new and innovative ideas. 
Ideally you’ll have a passion and interest in music.
 This person must also offer strong references from previous employers and clients.

The Must-Haves: 


Experience:
Client Synergies: must have a proven track record of holding and running multi- national consumer accounts of similar calibre
• 360 Approach: day to day experience working with other agencies within a 360 approach
• Traditional and Social Integration: proven success on high profile campaigns which span both traditional and social media
• New Business experience: can take a brief and manage the process from start to finish, including - research, brainstorming, client tissue sessions, strategy creation, idea generation, plan writing and presenting.
• Live Projects: oversee live campaigns including staff & client management, admin (processes & systems), KPIs, budgets, ‘best practice’ and problem solving.
• Team Management: oversee the team from an HR / development perspective, team workload, capacity planning and management updates. 

• AOB: 
Best Practice: someone who genuinely enjoys the creative way of approaching PR 
and wants to bend over backwards to deliver exceptional campaigns for clients!
• Glass half-full attitude
• Sparkly and warm personality to help win over clients, media and staff
• Well presented


Skills:
• The ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
• Outstanding writing skills and understanding of grammar
• Highly organised and utilises initiative to problem solve
• Practical knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Office and Word
• Experience of using Apple iMac’s a plus
