PR Account Director – Finance & Corporate – Global Agency

This role is a fantastic opportunity allowing for an overall scope of learning, and is a fantastic career move for a driven individual which will allow you to interact across all media platforms, social media, marketing activities, copywriting, client service and general support duties. This role will allow you to work on some amazing and extremely well known Global brands.

Overall Role:

• Responsible for the management and direction of Client accounts
• Responsible for the financial management of all Client programs under your direction 

• Support the Practice Director/ Vice President in the overall strategic and operational development of the Practice

• Provide ongoing counsel and guidance to Practice team members, ensuring the development and maintenance of the highest standards across all Client and Agency business related matters

• Support the Practice Director/ Vice President in the professional development of team members utilising proprietary tools and other formal and informal training processes and systems

Workplace Leadership:

• Work closely with the Practice Director/ Vice President to develop and maintain an organisational structure within the Practice which encourages individual and business growth and delivers a profitable return
• Support the Practice Director/ Vice President in the selection and appointment of staff and conduct annual appraisal discussions with your reports in line
• Contribute to greater learning of staff by playing a proactive role in the refinement and implementation of internal training programs
Performance Leadership:
• Provide daily leadership, direction and guidance to all account teams, specifically those under your supervision
• Demonstrate the highest levels of corporate standards in all staff and Client business matters, such that members of your team follow your professional lead
• Forge ongoing relationships with executives across the Group and other Interpublic Group companies, seeking collaborative and integrated business development opportunities wherever possible
• Support the Practice Director/ Vice President in the development and implementation of specialist services in line with those business opportunities that exist within the marketplace
• Support the Practice Director/ Vice President in the development and conversion of new business opportunities in line with Practice Group plans
• Support the Practice Director/ Vice President in the management and development of Client business such that the Practice Group meets or exceeds its revenue of target

Market Leadership:

• Take appropriate action to educate clients about public relations in order to manage client expectations
• Take an active part in the relevant business and PR professional bodies in your market 

• Assist the Practice Director/ Vice President in the development of market leadership position through participation in relevant PR industry awards
