PR Account Director - Consumer Health - FREELANCE

I am looking for a local PR Account Director for an IMMEDIATE 4 month contract. Do you want to work on exciting projects for a global brand with huge opportunities? Are you a proactive, determined, motivated, self-starter who’s full of ideas and passionate about the media and well networked?

My client is an integrated communications company who produce results-driven, multi-channel campaigns for household-name brands. The team is energetic, friendly, dynamic and fun to work with, comprised of highly experienced specialists with diverse interests and backgrounds.

You will have the opportunity to:

Work on a leading global brand to develop exciting PR and Communications campaigns that gain significant cut-through and exceptional results.
Be influential and involved in the development of accounts from day one
Work autonomously with support from a dedicated, passionate team
Work on global brands with significant budgets creating market-leading campaigns
Learn, develop and grow professionally from the leadership, experience and coaching that the leadership team provides
Work as part of a fast-paced, fun, supportive team

Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Developing and implementing exciting communications strategies across a range of clients and industries - with emphasis on PR channels - that support pre-agreed communication KPIs
• Writing interesting and engaging content for range of communication channels including media releases and social media
• Liaising and negotiation with key external campaign stakeholders to produce the best outcome
• Creating and managing large media lists across multiple accounts
• Developing and creating marketing / PR collateral ensuring brand and key message consistency for clients
• Developing and implementing a PR-driven social media strategy and content
• Intensive media relations to gain the best possible results
• Working with the in-house Activations Team to plan and execute PR events / stunts / sponsorships to gain media attention
• Managing budgets and tight timelines

A brilliant knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint is mandatory as are exceptional organisational skills. A PR agency background would be desirable as would experience in managing budgets and exposure to a media database. 

Ideally you will have extensive media experience working on a range of clients within a fast-paced environment.
