Are you a PR and Social Media expert?

This is a great opportunity to join an ASX listed, Sydney headquartered global financial services company, which has been operating in the fintech space for 17 years! Marketing is at the heart of the strategic direction announced in August 2015, and they are looking for someone to guide the direction of PR communications globally for the business.

Purpose of your role

This role is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of PR communications for my client in Australia and strategic frameworks to be implemented worldwide. It will also incorporate a Social and Content strategy to lead my clients communications via Influencer Marketing across all Social Media channels.

What you’ll be doing


• Develop PR plan for APAC market, and localise content and social media strategy for the region.
• Develop hero campaign ideas, that can be leveraged worldwide across both PR and Social channels
• Develop Corporate comms plans, to communicate the company’s success story and key messaging, supporting the board, CEO and key market moments
• Establishment a tracking framework to ensure we’re growing awareness, gaining coverage and advocates, that will support strategy.

Social Media:

• Deliver comprehensive content and social media strategy and campaigns
• Develop existing and new digital content requiring production and scheduling
• Collect, edit, evaluate and refresh dynamic digital content on social media to influence and engage a range of customer segments.
• Monitor and access statistical data to produce analysis and reports on the effectiveness of digital content & success of media channels
• Work with the design studio & other global social media team members, to develop consistent, lively and interesting assets

What you’ll bring


• Tertiary level qualification in a Marketing or Business degree

Core Knowledge, skills, experience

• Strategic thinker, not afraid to push boundaries and chart new territory!
• Be the customer champion and inspire customer focus
• PR experience either agency or client side
• Extensive knowledge of the Australian Media landscape
• Corporate Communications experience dealing with Investors, Analysts and the Financial Press ideally
• Social Media experience gained via PR or Social Media role
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, as well as understanding of how to implement distinctive content specific channel strategies and campaigns.
• Hands-on experience setting strategy and managing social media channels, including content calendars, advertising and reporting

The following skills are advantageous:

• Proven project management skills, able to deliver campaigns on time and within budget.
• Collaboration – managing stakeholders across multiple time zones and disciplines
• Agency Management experience
