PR & Marketing Manager In-house - Fashion Brand, FMCG

My client is a leading fashion brand, with their head office based in Melbourne, they are looking for a proactive and smart PR and Marketing Manager to come on board for a 4 month Mat Leave contract. This role may also have permanent potential in the long run.

The role will see you manage the global strategic marketing and communications strategy for my client. Acting as key Marketing link between the brand Marketing, Digital and Retail teams, this role is responsible for the effective communication of a consistent brand message developed from the single customer view. This role also oversees communications for the internal communities of the business, supporting the Human Resource team in delivering a cohesive brand message.

To succeed in this role you will enjoy a fast paced and dynamic environment, you will have previous experience with fashion retailers, you’ll be an excellent communicator as the role will include both internal comms (working with a number of departments) and external comms.

Role & responsibilities:

• Manage the proactive strategy and reactive approach to all Crisis Management issues relating to the Corporate Social Responsibility of the brand
• Campaign development for new markets, projects and launches for the brand
• Understand the traditional and new media landscape in the countries in which the brand operates, identifying new ways to speak to the customer and building key media relationships to benefit the brand
• Manage the relationship with appointed external agency to meet agreed KPIs and objectives
• Drive consistent editorial coverage appropriate to the brand via the appointed agency, across print, online media, and social media platforms
• To provide adequate guidance to all international markets on their public relations strategies, ensuring consistency across markets
• Develop and maintain a strong tone of voice, for use internally and externally throughout all communications and customer touch points
• Demonstrate A Single Customer View, developing seamless marketing and communications strategies
• Support with developing and implementing a strategic, integrated brand marketing programme which continues to build the brand locally and internationally
• Manage integrated marketing campaigns for major events and sponsorships for the brand, taking an omni-channel approach to meet objectives of the business
• Support with customer research projects as required by the business, analysing qualitative and quantitative data to provide an insightful knowledge into customer behaviour
• Drive interest for the brand through the development of bespoke innovative marketing initiatives that drive consumer engagement
• Provide insightful marketing analysis and develop bespoke marketing activity linked to brand strategy and product focus areas
• Be consistently aware of innovative opportunities that would add value to the customer experience

You will be a mature, organised and adaptable person, the role will see you dealing daily with a number of key stakeholders and senior members of the team. You will have at least 4 years PR experience, and be forward thinking, switched on and committed.
