PR & Digital Marketing Co-Ordinator - Charity - In-House - 6 Months

This fantastic in-house role in Sydney is immediately available. My client is extremely well regarded in the charity space, with a long history of amazing National campaigns. They are looking for someone for the next 6 months to assist with general marketing Communications with specific responsibilities in digital. It would be a full time role and you will be able to hit the ground running, with great common sense, you’ll be a great team player and deal well with multitasking.

The Digital Marketing Communications coordinator assists the Communications Manager in promoting my client as a ‘top of mind’ charity, engaging existing and future supporters in their vision. The role also works with a very wide range of internal and external stakeholders to promote the brand through their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating a strong community around the brand.

As the go-to expert within digital marketing (web, search, display, email, content and social marketing activities), the purpose of this role is to work with each department, as well as the Federation office and external stakeholders (agencies, service providers, partners) to produce quality content that meets their respective objectives while leveraging the brand.

Specific duties and responsibilities include assisting in delivering cost-effective communications to engage stakeholders including donors; prospective employees and supporters in promoting my client as a ‘top of mind’ charity, engaging existing and future supporters in their vision and work. As well as producing a range of collateral (basic done in house more detailed outsourced), writing content and supporting media occasionally if needed.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Essential Skills;

• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Marketing Communications experience in copywriting, graphic design, PR
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously
• Email Direct Marketing expertise (strongly preferred in Campaign Monitor)
• CMS experience (strong preference for Django, Netcommunity and Shopify)
• Basic Adobe Indesign skills
• Basic copywriting skills
• Social media (monitoring/ basic skills in).

Desirable:

• Experience dealing with media enquiries
• Understanding of fundraising in digital/NFP experience
• Understanding of Google Adwords and Google Analytics
• Understanding of Google Adwords and Google Analytics
• Basic video editing (Adobe)

Behavioural competencies:
• Results driven, proactive & able to work autonomously as well as in a small team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Problem solving attitude
• Flexible, change embracing in rapidly evolving work environment
• Ability to relate to and work with a wide variety of stakeholders
Education & other Experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience in marketing or related function at agency or internal marcom department.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office
