PR & Content Manager - Leading real estate group | IN-HOUSE

My client is a leading residential real estate group, established 30 years ago in Sydney but has grown to be a business with 100 offices throughout the East Coast. Despite being an ASX listed market leader, they have a tight-knit family culture with strong client services approach.
 

THE ROLE
A unique opportunity has now become risen for a seasoned communications professional to join the team as a PR & Content Manager and develop and implement an effective PR & content strategy to build and maintain brand image for both the business and key spokespeople. All while proactively building and strengthening both internal and external relationships and ensuring compliance of media protocol across the brand.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively research and write newsworthy media releases, thought leadership and social media content
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key members of the media and other stakeholders
  • Continually identify and evaluate risks and issues, making informed adjustments to communications in a fast-paced environment, focusing on audiences and impacts
  • Manage incoming requests from media, line up relevant spokespeople and prepare briefing documentation
  • Manage and execute new office rollout PR strategy
  • Ensure maximum leverage of all content across all channels - PR and social, and provide monthly reports on editorials and social engagement to measure success and value
  • Oversee industry award submissions across the network
  • Manage annual report writing team and content
  • Manage and execute internal communications and social protocol documents
  • Copywriting for the Marketing Department 
  • Visit network to present Social and PR strategy and opportunities at sales meetings 
  • General administration of databases and contact lists


KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years of experience in PR and/or communications
  • Strong research, highly developed writing and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail 
  • Capability to work to deadlines & work on multiple projects at one time
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders both internally and externally; and communicate, influence and negotiate outcomes
  • Proactive, agile and enthusiastic attitude
