PPC Manager

-Full time role

-£30k - 45k Depending on Experience

This is an outstanding opportunity for a PPC & SEO focused individual to deliver superior traffic to the website to support expansion plans. It is new role where you will be responsible for helping to bring in-house existing outsourced work to drive our digital strategy forward. You will report to the Marketing Director and manage paid search and reporting focusing on performance and optimization. You will also assist with analysis and tracking of SEO developments within the company to provide recommendations and implement technical SEO best practice.

Responsibilities

PPC


• Strategic direction of all PPC aspects within the business


• Perform daily account management of PPC accounts on Google AdWords, Bing, Yahoo and other search platforms


• Set up and manage Google Shopping ensuring the campaigns are fully optimized. A good knowledge of shopping comparison sites would be desirable.


• Maintain and monitor keyword bids, account daily and monthly budget caps,
impression share, quality score and other important account metrics


• Ensure campaigns run efficiently and to budget across multiple markets and
devices


• Running, maintaining and developing regular daily, weekly and monthly reporting


• Setting up, expanding and managing large keyword lists


• Devising and implementing testing proposals to drive performance uplift


• Provide creative copy suggestions


• Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities,
campaign structuring and targeting.


• As we expand internationally, generate new paid search campaigns, ad groups andcampaigns

SEO


• Ensure content; product descriptions, blog and brand landing pages are optimized for SEO purposes


• Analyse and track keyword queries bringing traffic to the site in Google analytics


General


• Keep up to date with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments

• Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports, and key reporting
tools


• Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major
search channels


• Communication to team and management on project development, timelines and most importantly results


Relevant Skills and Experience


• 2-4 years experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Search (PPC) - in-house or agency


• Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including
Google Analytics


• Experience with popular PPC ad platforms, (Adwords, Yahoo, Bing)


• Results oriented with the ability to successfully deliver on marketing objectives


• Outstanding ability to think creatively and identify and resolve problems


• High levels of automony and self-motivation


• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail


• Excellent analytical, organization, project management and time management skills


• Experience using the following programmes are essential;


o Google Adwords
o Google Adwords Editor
o Bing AdCentre
o Advanced Google Analytics
o Microsoft Word
o Microsoft PowerPoint
o Microsoft Excel
o Content Management Systems (Desirable)
o Facebook Advertising (Desirable)
o SEO Moz/Majestic or similar SEO reporting tool (Desirable)


• Advantageous if qualifications included Google (GAP) and Marin accreditation.
