PPC Account Manager

Vitamin T is working with one of our favorite marketing advertising agencies looking for a contract to hire PPC Account Manager. This position reports to the Director of Digital Marketing, and the role includes managing the strategy and planning of paid search accounts, launching new campaigns, guiding the optimization to meet specified performance objectives, and managing client expectations and communications throughout the engagement.

Desired Skills and Experience
Responsibilities:
· Provide day-to-day management of PPC accounts
· Interface with clients for PPC planning and reporting
· Manage daily responsibilities to client-side paid search accounts, including key phrase research, campaign / ad group creation, bid management, ad crafting / testing, copy writing etc., Shopping/PLA (product listing ad campaigns), datafeed management, re-marketing, and display advertising. (Google AdWords, Microsoft AdCenter)
· Define analytically informed strategies around display and remarketing campaigns
· Make strategic and tactical recommendations based on data analysis
· Monitor key business metrics and provide insight to improve performance of paid search campaigns
· Conduct competitive and industry research to stay current with market trends, updates and online marketing strategies
· Monitor editorial and industry specific policy updates as they relate to Google AdWords and other platforms
· Develop and implement search test strategies (inclusive of, but not limited to: bidding, copy, positioning, etc.) in an effort to maximize program effectiveness
· Support and assist in developing team members to optimize their performance, contribution and job satisfaction.
· Work with cross-functional account teams including technical, creative and analytics


Qualifications / Requirements:
· 3+ years of demonstrable experience in paid search, including Google AdWords and BingAds, display advertising, re-marketing, and product listing ad management
· Current Google AdWords Certification is required.
· Experience & results managing accounts for ecommerce clients, including Google Shopping campaigns.
· Experience & results managing large media budgets and hitting monthly goals for spend, revenue and key performance metrics
· Experience & results developing and managing display and remarketing campaigns
· Experience & results optimizing full consumer transaction cycle (conversion optimization)
· Prior agency or enterprise level account management experience a plus
· Experience in the use of Google Analytics and campaign tagging
· Experience working directly with clients
· Ability to work independently under deadlines.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
· Bachelor’s Degree Required

Additional Preferred Qualifications
· BingAds Certification
· Experience with Paid Social Media Management including LinkedIn & Facebook
· Experience with additional analytics platforms & bid management software such as DoubleClick, Omniture/Site Catalyst, Marin, Dart, or Core Metrics
