POP Designer, Point of Purchase

Fun filled fashion company is looking for a Point of Purchase POP Designer for in-store collateral and signage! Must have a basic understanding of the display manufacturing and printing process. Each designer must be excellent in 2D graphic design and must possess a strong ability to blend 2D graphics with their 3D concepts. Candidates must be a good at communicating, be willing to take direction, be fluent in English, have the ability to work independently and be motivated to provide winning design.
 
 Primary Job Requirements:
• Provide several creative ideas per week based on a specific design brief provided by the company
• Render packages, fixtures and store environment in 3D in display concepts
• Develop complimentary graphics to your designs via artwork provided by the company or that you find & create via the internet
• Regularly visit stores to evaluate the environment for displays, develop strategy and insure the appropriateness of our design application
• Make improvements and revisions to design concepts based on input from the Global Design Director and your colleagues

Secondary Job Requirements:
• Provide display concepts via sketch layouts
• Provide creative 2D artwork for packages, logos, production art, etc.,upon request
• Have frequent discussions with your design colleagues about the display market, retail environment, display usage and display performance.
• Suggest ideas for continual improvement of communication and work process

Must Haves
Graphic Design Background, Formal Training
2+ years POP exp.
Apparel or Beauty exp. a plus+
A fun funky design style
Ability to be flexible with design and process
Strong Design software skill set including Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AutoCAD, 3D & 2D digital rendering.
Hand sketching a plus+
