Aquent is seeking a PMO Analyst to work for one of our client's sites in New Orleans, Louisiana!

A PMO Analyst wears many hats throughout the course of a traditional IT Project.

5 Key Skill Areas are required:

Data: As a PMO Analyst you will focus on the project data produced from the project on a daily basis. This includes managing the risks, budgets, schedules, and controls. If there's data associated with the project-it's your job to analyze it!

Interpreter: A good PMO is skilled in project and program management. They can not only analyze the data associated with their project, but can also answer the how and where regarding the data's production

Connect: Data is a big part of a PMO's role; however, it is important for this individual to bridge the gap between the program and project delivery. In a sense, you will act as a risk manager based on your 5 years or more of experience working with IT Projects directly

Training: This is a "boots on the ground" position. While many hours are spent crunching numbers in an office using Microsoft Excel, you will find yourself on your feet training others and conducting fact finding meetings

Thinking: You guessed it! PMO Analyst do a lot of thinking! What is everyone doing? Is it working? Is there a better solution? Yes? It's your job to own it! How can YOU make it better? What are the risks? The pros? The cons?

A PMO Analyst handles a many aspects of an IT Project. It is a critical role that focuses on overall deliverables, costs, efficiencies, and more.

Viable candidates are analytic and have a Business/Financial Analyst background with IT Project experience. Strong communication skills will allow you the ability to interface with the different roles working on the project. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project will be your daily tools. With your ability to navigate these systems with ease from day one of your role life will be so much easier on the site.

This position works 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with the possibility of early mornings or late nights to meet project demands.

Your next role as a PMO Analyst is an 18 month contract with a large Utility company. We're ready to vet your skills and experience further.
