Our top education client located in Old Tappan, NJ is looking to hire two experienced PMO Analysts for a 6 month contract offering full benefits.

This client has undertaken a major restructure to move from a federated set of businesses to a new overarching structure over the last two years. There are a number of programs and initiatives underway to ensure our infrastructure, data and systems can support the new structure. The Enabling Program this Analyst will be a part of is an exciting global program which will, through the simplification of our many systems and processes, transform the way the business operates.

Role Overview & Purpose

This role is required to support the PMO team to facilitate delivery of the Enabling Program through effective facilitation, tracking and reporting. The post holder for this role will be an established Analyst who has worked within a PMO function. The role will report to the PMO Manager, and will work closely with project coordinator, administrator, work stream owners and technology teams.

Key Deliverables

● Act as a reference point for PMO queries and information, as well as an advocate of best practices in project management
● Responsible for managing the implementation and operation of multiple PMO processes;
o Project Planning control and estimating support
o Risk and Issue Management administration
o Change Management and Deliverables Management coordination o Milestone tracking and report preparation for senior stakeholder meetings
o Document management support and control
o Supporting Resource scheduling
● Coordinating with both local and global PMO teams helping integrate a single view of the project, to ensure accurate reporting, on risks and issues and other indicators.
● Responsible for documenting performance against plans with work stream leads to ensure successful completion of key deliverables and key milestones
● Support users in the accurate use of the Risk, Issues and Actions register.
● Working as a team with other PMO Analyst, ensure the integrity of the project/work stream information stored within the project enterprise tool
● Develop positive relationship with managers and staff, working supportively and collaboratively with other teams across the program and the company

Essential Skills /Experience
● Experience working in IT/Business/Operational programs
● Strong and recent experience as a PMO Analyst in a global matrix organization
● Demonstrable and experience of supporting and managing one or more core PMO processes, such us planning, reporting, change control or risks management.
● Demonstrable knowledge and experience of program and project lifecycles.
● Demonstrable experience of clear consolidation of information into concise communications to be reported to senior management
● Proficient in creating and updating project plans, risks & issue logs, tracking interdependencies.
● Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Project or similar enterprise project management tools.
● Highly organized and capable planner with excellent attention to detail
● Fluent English

Desirable Skills
● Experience of using Google Drive at a Corporate Level
● Experience of working with Microsoft Project
● A project management qualification such as PMP, PMI, PRINCE2 preferred Personal Style and Behavior
