PIM/MDM Specialist

**This is a full-time, on-site, contract-to-hire role in Mesquite, TX. Only local applicants, please. This is a junior to mid level role.**


The Product Information Marketing Coordinator reports to the eCommerce Manager and will be responsible for the creation, syndication, and maintenance of product data for websites, trading partner communications and other e-commerce specific needs. Primary responsibilities include managing data maintenance projects that consist of enriching, editing, and adding product data to the company's product information management (PIM) system. The PIM Specialist will work with product managers/marketers, engineers, developers and our marketing content team to create and syndicate product content. They will ensure projects are on track and truly bring all of the benefits of a well-oiled PIM machine to the company as it continues to grow.


The individual in this role must bring PIM, data management and general business knowledge to the business and actively partner with the business unit teams to help define PIM business and data processes, including challenging the business to think in new ways about how they manage and syndicate product information and assets.
Work with a broader enterprise PIM/MDM teams
Responsible for understanding Hubbell’s data structure and system set-up and educating others whenever needed
Responsible for designing/defining transformations, outputs, and business rules within the Stibo PIM system
Responsible for working with marketing and IT to ensure a smooth interface between backend systems, STEP and external systems to provide online and print catalogs
Responsible for working with Marketing to assist with building print materials (creating templates, attribute assignment, etc.) using the STEP InDesign interface
Responsible for data integrity utilizing STEP matching & linking functionalities
Responsible for maintaining and linking assets to appropriate products/categorization
Must have functional experience using a PIM for scheduling and monitoring batch processes
Responsible for supporting the business users with their daily STEP activities and resolving issues encountered through the Web UI or other import/export processes
Responsible for status reports to Digital Marketing Manager as well as to business groups leads, as needed
Limited responsibility for Stibo STEP configuration including but not limited to attributes, attribute groups, attribute validity, List of Values (LoVs), categorization (Blue and Yellow), integration points, configuration profiles, etc
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment
Approximately 15-25% travel to business units, training and governance meetings


Experience with ERPs
Experience with one or more of the most common PIM/MDM tools: Asim, inRiver, Salsify, Hybris, Agility Multichannel, ADAM, EnterWorks, Stibo Systems, Pimcore, Merchantry, Perfion, Riversand, IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management Server (IBM MDMS, formerly WCC), IBM InfoSphere Product Information Management (IBM MDMS PIM, formerly WPC), Informatica MDM (formerly Siperian), SAP MDM 7.x, Oracle Product Hub, Oracle Customer Hub, TIBCO Collaborative Information Manager
Experience with data analysis
Experience with identifying and fixing bad dataExcellent execution skills with high quality, focus on prioritization, and timeliness
Excellent communication skills


Experience with eCommerce solutions
Experience in the manufacturing industry with companies like Grainger or McMaster-Carr
