Our client in the Western Suburbs of Illinois are looking to add a Copywriter to their growing creative team! Do you enjoy using your humor and wit to create quirky, engaging content across various different areas of a company? Have you mastered delivering this copy and looking to uncover opportunities to continue to push the envelope and use your creative expression to deliver marketing campaigns and engaging B2B & B2C collateral for a multitude of audiences? If so - this role is for you!
Demonstrate an understanding of campaigns and deliver copy to meet them.
Edit copy and act as expert on copy/brand voice POV in strategic discussions.
Answer creative briefs to a very high standard with beautiful copy to produce ads, brochures, direct mail, POP/POS, digital banners,and email copy.
Participate in brainstorming sessions with additional ideation and research.
Research competitive activity to inform best practices and successful approaches to content development
Collaborate cross functionally with design teams to deliver channel-specific copy with clear and compelling messaging.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree
3-5 years of marketing experience
Be a "jack-of-all-trades" - One day this person could be working with designers, the next a digital or HR project. The right person in this role would understand the hustle of an advertising agency but also have the investment of how this work will benefit the company immediately and long term.
Be creative but organized - Strong project management and time management skills are crucial to this person being a success.
