Organizational Development Consultant

The Senior Organizational Development Consultant is responsible for understanding business goals, building development, learning or change strategies and creating solutions that add value to the business. This role partners with managers, leaders and human resources to ensure change initiatives, talent and development strategies are aligned with our company vision.

Job Responsibilities

1. Project Management
• Partner with OD/HR/HRIS/IT to develop, deliver and reinforce best practices for talent management, development and change management processes and tools
• Build and manage complex project plans for major business process/technology implementations or development initiatives
• Lead ongoing development, implementation and maintenance of select OD/HR systems and tools to ensure alignment with IT/HRIS roadmap

2. Build and deliver development solutions
• Collaborate with business leaders to develop and deliver learning solutions for individuals and teams to build and sustain professional, technical, process and system skills
• Partner with third parties to manage complex, multi-phased development solutions
• Build Company specific curriculum using adult learning principles through a variety of approaches, including classroom, web based or self-paced

3. Diversity & Inclusion
• Delivers EEO/AAP programs to ensure compliance and meet organizational goals
• Consult and partner with HR Business Partners and leaders on affirmative action goals, diversity strategies and business unit initiatives
• Assist in aligning Diversity & Inclusion programs and initiatives to organizational talent management strategies

4. Internal Consulting
• Partner with HR and business teams to understand needs, drivers, goals and expected outcomes of major projects/OD initiatives
• Collaborate with leaders, managers and the HR team to enhance awareness, execution and reinforcement of OD activities
• Deliver and ensure success of talent, development or change initiatives, through skillful coaching, program management and facilitation

5. Analytics
• Partner with OD/HR/business teams to build and manage talent and change scorecards
• Build, administer and communicate results of talent and change readiness surveys
• Compile data and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports, presentations and dashboards for key metrics

• Expertise with adult learning principles and experience developing curriculum for adult learners
• Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
• Understanding of how people go through change and the change process
• Able to work effectively at all levels of the organization
• Ability to analyze, design and build reports from data sets using reporting tools
• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
