Organization Change Management Specialist

The Organization Change Management Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing change management plans to maximize employee adoption / usage and minimize resistance for selected IT projects. The Specialists will provide support and guidance to high profile technology projects/initiatives to drive faster adoption, higher utilization, and greater proficiency of the changes that impact our client's employees.

Responsibilities:
-Provide change management subject matter expertise and be a key member of the project teams at critical stages during the project
-Assess or confirm projects’ change management needs and develop and execute comprehensive change management plans to address those needs
-Conduct relevant diagnostics as needed, which may include stakeholder analysis, learning needs assessment, change readiness assessment, communication assessment, etc, and share findings with the core project teams, project or program sponsors (e.g. IT Business Relationship Manager) and with other OCM resources inside IT
-Capture, develop and validate all change impacts for the business. Develop mitigation plans.
-Ensure project communications align to overarching strategic communications
-As needed, establish and execute a stakeholder engagement plan and maintain the stakeholder list
-Ensure change activities, intent and timing are aligned with overall project objectives and timeline; and that communications execution is in alignment with overall change plan for readiness and go-live dates
-Ensure project communications are aligned with IT Strategic communications themes and key messages
-Communication activities can include, but are not limited to: writing targeted communications to stakeholders (in different levels of organization), developing status updates, sharing ways the business can achieve the project benefits, creating project toolkits (PowerPoint decks for awareness, readiness), developing FAQs (frequently asked questions), creating marketing materials and content for website updates (if applicable), utilizing digital signage, and creating job aids. This also includes proofreading/editing materials.
