Operations Specialist, Project Management

As our Operations Specialist, you'll help provide support for project and communication initiatives for our Fortune 500 Athletic/footwear client.
You'll be responsible for managing varied project initiatives that will involve a variety of stakeholders and subject matter.
You'll also need to demonstrate a strong ability to learn new information and systems quickly, work successfully in a highly matrixed organization and forge partnerships with peers, management, and stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS
PROJECT /TASK MANAGEMENT SKILLS
• Strong analytical and innovative skills for strategic planning, sound decision-making, and problem solving and ability to work well under tight business driven deadlines
• Experienced working as part of a project team gathering requirements, conducting research and task management against a timeline
• Ability to taking larger initiatives and deconstruct the work into manageable deliverable and deadlines
MARKETING/COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• Strong customer service delivery skills
• Effective, positive verbal and written communication skills
• Professional business demeanor; demonstrates patience, ability to negotiate effectively and network within/outside of the organization
• Ability to communicate and present effectively to all levels of the organization
• Comfortable giving presentations and training sessions
• Experienced creating and implementing marketing or communications campaigns
• Experienced managing mass communication to a specific audience by incorporation varied communication vehicles

DECISION-MAKING AND JUDGMENT
• Ability to identify and resolve complex operational, organizational and executional problems
• Sound judgment and ability to provide direction toward the determination of policy and strategy
• Ability to prioritize workload effectively
• Capacity to quickly understand new information and situations and the flexibility to refocus after interruptions
• Detail minded with strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time (meetings, accessibility to staff, etc.) to ensure the needs of the business are met
• Capability of making sound business decisions and quickly understanding new information and situations
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, team environment
• Ability to take initiative, follow-through on requests until completion

COMPUTER SKILLS
• Strong computer skills, including experience navigating the internet and using PC and Windows-based software (Microsoft Office)
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Experienced creating and developing high-quality PowerPoint presentations
• Business use of on-line and/or social communication tools
