Our client, a fortune-500 pharmaceutical company, is looking for an Operations Manager in their East Hanover location. Overview:
Support the development and implementation of patient service initiatives for Specialty Brands that require a Patient Service center (PSC) to manage reimbursement and related services. The Ops Manager will oversee the daily operations of the PSC, while supporting the SS&C Account Manager and Implementation Lead on specific initiatives, projects, program improvements and issues management. Specific knowledge on reimbursement, distribution channel and specialty pharmacy operations is essential.

Specific responsibilities of the position include:
Vendor Management – Operations - Visit vendor monthly to perform operational reviews to ensure execution of SOPs
Ensure qualified PSC staff is hired, present and trained, including annual refreshers
Coordinate with QA and Training support resources to ensure successful execution of responsibilities
Provide support for successful implementation of new services at the PSC (Plan, Design, Build and Launch) along with ensuring adequate staffing for operational support
Understand operational reports, and use to measure business efficiency to manage overall program performance and productivity – work with data / reporting team to manage reporting requests
Support PSC day-to-day operations, managing operational metrics, KPIs and SLAs
Support the preparation of ,and participate in quarterly business review (QBR) meetings
Participate in daily and weekly calls as necessary to be operationally up to speed on all issues with PSC. Continuously evaluate and provide suggested improvements to patient flow and retention through the reimbursement process and beyond.
Coordinate and ensure implementation of PSC scripts, forms, letters, SRF, etc once eMAP approved – provide feedback to brand team in development phase.
Coordinate with other PSC related stakeholders (IT, Specialty Pharmacy, Legal/Privacy/Safety, etc.) to implement improvements, once approved.
