Our fortune 500 client's Retail Partner Development team is seeking an Operations Manager. The team is focused on distributing in-person payment processing solutions to brick-and-mortar merchants through high-impact partner relationships. This position will provide operational support for the team and its interactions with various cross-functional stakeholders (including Business Development, Sales Operations, Finance, Marketing Ops, and other demand planners) as they develop, align, and implement these partnerships. The work environment is fast-paced, Start-up Mentality with aggressive business growth, ability to learn quickly and take ownership of producing quality work, ability to develop operational processes where none exist.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
You will focus on the below to develop and improve the Partner Operations process:

• Operational Process Management/Improvement: Team lead for all operational activities that help the team accelerate top line growth with partners. In the near term, this includes coordination, leading, and tracking of existing manual processes as well as ongoing process improvements to drive greater automation and efficiency.

• Pricing: Manage existing manual merchant pricing contract process and lead the move to a more automated, Salesforce-driven process.

• Reporting: Lead team shift to Salesforce and develop pipeline management reports in Salesforce; lead internal aggregation (ensuring data quality) and analysis of key team metrics into weekly and monthly reports and graphs for team tracking and management reviews; Lead external partner reporting as needed.

• Partner/Merchant Onboarding: Develop and execute processes to improve onboarding for key SDK partners and merchants – including creating telesales workflows, modifying account flags and settings, improving customer support and risk processes; creating attribution codes for proper partner/merchant tracking and reporting.

• Go-To-Market: Checklist and timeline management for new partner and/or merchant setup and launch activities, including asset creation and partner and merchant training.

• Payments: Develop automated process for tracking and distributing rev share and/or other payments to partners and/or merchants, coordinate invoicing when needed, determine payout requirements by individual partner contracts, and ensure proper reporting of payouts. Maintain monthly audit file to manage refund process.

• Device forecasting: Develop process to monitor distribution and performance of card readers through our partners, and help forecast device needs for internal team builds; lead MFi process.

• Budget: Manage team budget to monitor progress of spend against budgets in the aggregate and on a line-item basis, work with line-item owners to identify and correct over-/under-spends, ensure that all budget line items have the appropriate system entries, including POs, and meet with Finance team to align team budget with larger organizational budget.

• Shared Team Folders: Create, communicate, and manage efficient and intuitive shared folder taxonomy to store and provide easy access to partner development materials, contracts, marketing assets, and other materials.
