OpenCV/C++ Computer Vision Engineer
Location- NYC, Basking Ridge, NJ or REMOTE
Start date-ASAP
Duration- 6-9 month contract with the intention of converting to a perm position
Only candidates who are currently authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future will be considered
Hourly pay rate range- DOE
Required -Minimum 4-year degree at accredited university

OpenCV/C++ Computer Vision Engineer

  • Minimum 4-year degree at accredited university
  • Five or more years of experience working with video technologies.
  • Must be proficient with development using OpenCV
  • Must be proficient with C++ and OOAD design.
  • Knowledge of CUDA and OpenCL will be a plus.
  • Prior knowledge of video stitching using OpenCV is a big plus.
  • Source code management using GIT
  • Versatile with using using Linux OS and shell scripting.

    Ideal candidate would be a good team player and work with the team to help add new functionality to the current system, help maintain the code, help with testing during development cycles.

    General Info:
    This high tech lab offers the best opportunity on the East Coast to work on leading edge technology in the Virtual Reality space. Unless you're in the Silicon Valley you won't have the opportunity to gain the experience that you'll have here. The value of this opportunity is immeasurable.

    Candidates need to be passionate about Augmented and Virtual Reality and knowledgeable about the current VR space (and about new technology in general). Candidates that are just "looking for a job" and think AR/VR "sounds interesting" will NOT be competitive.

    Candidates need to demonstrate experience and an affinity for collaborative, dynamic teamwork. Experience working on a fast-growing, high-intensity team, working in a SCRUM/Agile environment, working at a startup and/or working with an R&D team is strongly preferred.

  • All candidates MUST at a minimum have completed a 4-year college degree at an accredited university
  • All candidates MUST pass a drug test.
  • Candidates will be given a challenging assignment to complete during interview process.

    Thing to Know
  • Team has grown from 12 people in January 2016 to about 100 and still rapidly growing!
  • Candidates that come from a start up environment preferred
  • Position is 6-9 months with the intention of converting to a permanent position
  • 40 hours will be the standard work week and overtime is not expected but if you'd like to work overtime, you may.
  • You must have a demonstrated passion for VR and AR.
  • Client expects that the people they hire have their own passion projects, maybe have an interest in art, or any other type of interest that could bring a new element to the group.
