Our client is looking for an Onsite Instructional Designer. This is an onsite contract to perm opportunity with benefits.

The ideal talent will be responsible for but not limited:

Job Summary: Conducts, (designs and develops) training classes and programs designed to build moderate to high level technical skills within a discipline. Designs, and develops technical training classes, and programs. This includes classroom, workshops, e-learning opportunities within a region or discipline. May assist in the design, development and implementation of broader curriculum or seminars as a subject matter expert for projects across regions or disciplines.

• Must know ADDIE methodology
• Design and develop interactive and engaging instructional materials/activities (lessons, courses, modules, activities, exercises, exams) using a variety of tools (using MS Word or Adobe Captivate) for on-the-job and classroom facilitator
• Analyze and interpret user system requirements, technical specifications, application features, and functions to translate them into appropriate training formats for new or enhanced system training
• Primarily develop on-the-job (i.e. SOPs) and classroom facilitator led training materials

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conducts all levels of technical or interaction skills training including basic through advanced level
associates. Schedules training courses and enrolls associates. Serves as a back-up to other instructors for programs which are not normal responsibility.

2. Provides on-going evaluation of existing and planned training programs by providing analysis, validation and impact against outlined objectives. Designs and evaluates tools and measurement methods, determines ROI and Performance Improvement metrics.

3. Modifies existing course content, presentation methods, utilization, based upon course evaluations and expertise. May design and develop new training programs, courses and materials based on identified training needs and performance gaps. May act as a project leader and consultant in the design, and development of training courses and programs.

4. Provides basic performance consulting and training needs analysis for assigned business units.

5. May serve as liaison to various task forces and projects as assigned.

May participate in the evaluation of outside vendor produced training programs and delivery methods. May manage vendor
relationships for topical area of responsibility.

6. Performs other duties as assigned.
