Online/Search Marketing Specialist

Online/Search Marketing Specialist for a growing boutique digital branding and marketing firm that specializes in brand development, web development, and search marketing. As the Online Marketing Specialist, they are looking to you to be their resident expert in B2B organic and paid search marketing. You will interface with clients, establish & implement the firm’s online marketing methodologies, & provide regular reporting.

This is a very hands-on position that requires both strategic vision and tactical execution. The role is about 50% organic SEO, 20% PPC management, 20% content marketing, and 10% social media management. You will be responsible for understanding a client’s business objectives, creating their online marketing strategy (including organic SEO, link building, PPC, social media, etc.) and then carrying out that strategy on a day-to-day basis. You will be responsible for delivering measurable results and quality analysis to clients on a monthly basis.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

• Keyword Analysis, Reporting and Recommendations
• Competitive site analysis & recommendations
• Inbound linkbuilding
• On-site SEO
• PPC Campaign management
• Conversion optimization strategies
• Content marketing – including blog creation, social media management, and managing email marketing deployments
• PR optimization and deployment
• Website Analysis, Reporting & Recommendations
• Client Training, when necessary
• Usability & quality assurance (such as cross-platform testing)
• E-mail Marketing testing, deployment, monitoring and analysis
• Social media management & content deployment

STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the development of and participate in:

• Integrated search marketing strategies (SEO, SEM, Social, Paid, Mobile, etc.)
• Content Deployment strategies (E-mail, Online PR, Social, Blog, etc.)
• Social Media Community Building Strategies


REQUIREMENTS DESIRED:
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
3+ years of relevant skills including, but not limited to:

• Search Engine Optimization tactics and best practices
• Search Engine Marketing tactics
• Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, AdWords, & Webmaster Tools
• Google Partner Certification (Adwords and/or Analytics) desired
• Competitive intelligence gathering
• Link building strategies
• Google / Microsoft advertising PPC administration
• Social media strategies
• Content marketing and administration
• E-mail Marketing
• Knowledge of WordPress and HubSpot a plus
