Contract Online Project Manager

Location: West London
Start date: 1st Feb – want someone in place by 18th Feb
Duration: 3 months initially
Rate up to £380 possibly more for an exceptional candidate
Hours: 37.5

· End to end pm online project management
· Working on transformational projects online
· Shop - help - amazon, john lewis, apple ideally
· Media exp - orange, virgin, o2, talktalk t-mobile

What specific project / projects will the contractor be working on?

Online help and support, working on transformational projects online

What is the reason for the role? backfill

What are the day-to-day activities of the role?

Dealing with ux designers/developers
Project reporting back to stakeholders

What are the skills & experience required? (ask what else? Essentials in priority order)

- Experienced working with online help & support
- New websites, sections of website
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- End to end pm online project management
Are People Management skills involved? (stakeholder – internal/external, line management, 3rd party suppliers etc)

Quite high level stakeholder management – must be confident

What background will they come from? (industry/sector, job titles, target companies) What role might they be doing now?

Any role, similar environment preferable but will consider telco/banking/utilities as long as their is experience with Help & Support

Personality profile would fit your team and environment?

Confident with stakeholders, personable.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a new media environment
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamically changing environment
• Strong people management and influencing skills
• The ability to move between big picture and a focus on detail
• A quick learner with the ability to troubleshoot when required
• Logical and analytical approach to problem solving
• An understanding of the technical issues associated with web products
• An understanding of the agile methodology
• Proficiency in MS Word/ Excel/ Project/ Powerpoint/Vision
• Professional Project Management certification/qualification
