Online Operations Manager

This leading Health and Beauty Retailer has a newly created Online Operations Manager opportunity. Reporting to the Digital Marketing & eCommerce Manager your key focus will be to manage the online shop operations in addition to driving efficiencies in operational and fulfilment processes.

Demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience and problem solving capability will be pivotal. As you will be tasked with maintaining and managing the order value chain working with departments such as IT, Customer Service, Merchandise and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Digital Channel Manager to measure the Online Store performance analysis and reporting across, forecast reviews, category budget process and promotional results
Effective forecasting across category sales, gross margin, purchases & Inventory on hand
Analyse performance of Online Store sales across categories
Identify opportunities for process improvement and areas of risk
Contribute to the ongoing development of the Online Store strategy
Develop a buying & planning strategy including definition of online categories, pricing policy and replenishment process
Define new online ranges
Develop the inventory and receiving policies and procedures for the Online Store product range
Manage order processing and billing requirements including refunds and product exchanges
Train Customer Service representatives in the Online Store procedures and policies


You will have:
Experience in the e-commerce, systems or merchandise areas with a track record of delivering on time and on budget
Commercial acumen, entrepreneurial flare, commitment, and results focused
Highly self-motivating and must demonstrate creative thinking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as part of a small dynamic team and liaise with multiple stakeholders
Ability to develop strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
