Online Merchandising Strategist - 6months, 3days p/week

Our client, a leading online travel booking company, is looking to take on an Online Merchandising Strategist to join their London team for a 6month contract, working 3 days p/week.

You will be lead the strategy, analysis and reporting for new and existing promotion opportunities, relating to coupons specifically. You will be reporting to Senior Manager, Global Merchandising, and will have direct and frequent contact across a variety of teams, including Merchandising, Business Development, Marketing, Affiliates, CRM, Loyalty, Analytics and Finance.

Key responsibilities:
• Lead the business case development and offer strategy for new coupon promotions and partnership opportunities
• Analyze coupon campaign performance and share key learnings with relevant stakeholders, including senior leadership team
• Develop and implement a standard toolset for post-campaign reporting, e.g., total orders, revenues, profits, effective discount, etc.
• Work closely with Analytics team to develop and optimize the methodology to measure coupon performance, including incrementality

Key qualifications:
• Previous experience in a retail or merchandising function, ideally working with promotions or coupons
• Strong financial and analytical skills, with understanding of e-commerce economics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Communication, negotiation & collaboration skills that engender trust and inspire action
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects /responsibilities
