Online Media Manager

The Online Media Manager will manage product lines, and the content development of company portion of the website that deals with "live online events." This is a full-time, onsite, contract-to-hire role.

The Online Media Manager will be responsible for creating and executing all promotional activities for assigned projects under the direction of the Department Director.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Develops promotional strategies and manages execution of plans assigned product line(s).
• Develops, manages and executes approved budget for product line development, projects, promotions and programs associated with assigned product line(s).
• Acts as the primary liaison to other functional areas such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Events, Publicity, Creative, etc. to ensure awareness of current and future promotional campaigns and coordination of activities.
• Manages support staff, and selects and manages outside vendors associated with assigned product line(s).
• Creates and approves promotional content, metadata, eMarketing materials, etc associated with the assigned product line(s).
• Conducts author relations associated with the assigned product line(s); including responding to author inquiries and requests, maintaining continual flow of information, and planning/managing vendor participation.
• Manages ongoing development for live online courses – meets with stakeholders on regular basis to create ideas, content, schedule and business development for "live online events".
• Works with Website Manager to provide content and necessary assets for all live online events and courses.
• Works with members of the marketing team to create and approve all marketing materials, advertisements, direct mailings, and general promotions related to live online events and courses.
• Evaluate success of each activity assigned. Reports analytics and revenue to Director on weekly, and monthly basis.
• Oversees the general brand for Product Line(s)
• Learns new techniques, processes, theories and technologies related to product line.
