Online Marketing/Communications/Design Manager

We are looking for a marketing professional with web design and graphic design experience as well to join our client's team. Our client is a membership organization in downtown Richmond.

This person will:

-Develop and implement communications, strategy, design, programming, production and execution for company related communications, marketing promotional materials including website.

-Provide marketing and communications support for assigned products and programs.
• Coordinating internal efforts to design logo, identity and associated branding for various programs and services, with an emphasis on comprehensive and strategic event marketing and promotion.
• Designing and executing all communication / marketing / promotional materials including corresponding elements for print, web and e-mail
• Supervising relationships and expectations with external member vendors including printers, mail-shops, freelance designers, sales persons and other resources as needed throughout a project
• Advising internal clients on related budgetary considerations and ensuring compliance with approved budgets as applicable
• Developing milestones, marketing plans and production schedules for relevant projects
Coordinate all activities related to the company's website
• Ensuring consistent branding and graphics across all company web sites and electronic communications
• Ensuring timeliness of content updates and reliability of links and other interactive components of client's websites and pages
• Daily maintenance of website and related assets including managing and updating content, designing
images and elements, using a CMS system in addition to writing HTML code as necessary and managing
database and web-reporting
• Providing support for internal clients in accurately representing events and programs on all company websites.
• Supporting relationships and expectations with all external resources including developers, IT, web
partners and sales persons
• Monitoring website tracking data and other sources of input regarding the efficiency of company websites,
providing highlights to company management and recommending improvements based on findings
• Developing and ensuring compliance with related budgets
-Help manage company’s social media channels.
• Posting regular mix of content to include event promotion, member and company news, regional news and
other relevant information.
• Ensuring that the company is connected with members upon joining the company.
• Monitoring compliance among staff members and volunteers with clearance to post on behalf of the company and its brands.
-Administer internal graphics storage.
• Ensuring the integrity, security and accessibility of physical and electronic graphics files including logos,
photos and other design elements
• Responding to requests for stored images and graphics as well as creating new images

EDUCATION:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in marketing, communications design, public relations or related field.
-Three years experience in marketing, public relations, or corporate communications, including project management and applied design. Must be proficient in Adobe CS5 Master suite including (in order of strength necessary) Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop and Flash. A strong design ability for both print and web as well as a working knowledge of interactive development, print production and social media are crucial to this role.
