Online Marketing Manager

Long term contract with potential for extension with Fortune 500 Tech company in San Francisco!

We are looking for a top-notch professional who is seeking to broaden his or her experience in Marketing, specifically in media and advertising. Ideal candidates must have at least 5-7 years’ experience in most (if not all) aspects of media planning and buying with a big emphasis on digital. We are particularly looking for candidates with B2B and/or tech experience across the array of Online channels (emphasis on social, SEM, Display, Content Syndication). You will also be a key player consulting with cross-functional Marketing teams to establish media objectives and strategies that satisfy internal stakeholder marketing objectives. Lastly, we are seeking a smart go-getter who can confidently hunt down new opportunities, new publishers, and innovative ways to market.

Responsibilities:
● Plan and execute online plans
● Develop/build relationships with marketing partners and vendors, negotiating rates and developing new opportunities
● Oversee and manage third party ad server trafficking (Dart)
● Present new ideas and plan optimizations to clients
● Coordinate budgets and purchasing
● Manage the trafficking of online media plans using multiple tracking systems
● Analyze online data and provide insights for optimization with the help of your team
● Manage the media billing to ensure accurate weekly billing audits and budget recaps
● Participate in the weekly campaign and status meetings; manage media feedback
● Work closely with creative teams to develop and implement campaigns

Requirements:
● 5-7 years’ work experience, ideally in media planning and buying with an emphasis on digital
● Strong affinity for social media and content marketing
● Strong math and analytical skills; ability to relate results to client business objectives
● Media vendor negotiation experience
● Experience with research tools
● Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
● Highly organized and motivated
● Able to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
● Self-starter who is capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively
● Passion for advertising and technology
